Recently James Lowe from The IDEA Magazine sat down with one of the very exciting artists on the scene. The following is a written interview we conducted with the artist while they were working on their next CD. First off

I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busey schedule to talk to us here today, as i know our readers have been requesting us get you in here some how some way. You folks have been described by your fans as internet

sensations in this interview we will attempt to figure out how this artist became such a great performer and what they have going forward.

Tell us about the artist’s name?

ABM is the stage name I use when dropping beats or when doing my bass albums..Abm stands for A.mauter B.eat M.aker because im leraning something new and different when im doing a beats.

 

What is your latest album and why should people buy it?

“Hittin” would be my first bass album and can be download for free at http://www.whotune.com/jmahoneyproduction if you like bass music then this is the album to download.

 

How would you categorize the style of your music?

Crunk,Bass shaking,Miami Bass,Dirty south

 

Can you share with us one or two of your favorite moments?

None at the moment but im sure I will have some soon!

 

How important do you rate the lyrical side of your albums?

Zero.My album is strictly for those with the booming systems.

 

What are your current tour plans, if any?

None yet

 

Tell us about your thoughts on your local music scene?

It has grown from when I was coming up because of all the software and technology.Everybody can have they one little studio type set up.Alot of the music around my way is underground.

 

Why do you think people are into your music?

I know a lot of peeps looking for someone to bring back that Miami bass style music and I learned from one of the best that was in the game Dj Fury of BASS PATROL.

 

What is the most played track on your iTunes?

Right now I would say “all gold” by Trinidad James.

 

What is your most cherished musical object?

My djx keyboard

 

Do you have go-to album on a rainy day?

Not really

 

First band t-shirt you ever purchased at a concert?

Lol none

 

Last record you purchased?

Record?whats that?..lol…I think T.I.’s album was the last one

 

If for some reason you lost the ability to make and play music, what would fill that gap?

Im into graphics,and customizing cars

How has Social Networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) impacted your music?

It makes it a whole lot easier to promote and network your music through social network or the internet period.You get to reach more of your fans and keep them up to date with whats going on with your music.
