Julian Moon’s Official Video for “Loser” Premieres with Juxtapoz

Debut Album Good Girl Out Now

LA-based singer-songwriter Julian Moon has dropped another comical, endearing video – this time for her song “Loser.” The video exclusively premiered yesterday with Juxtapoz Magazine. The whimsical, fun-loving composition was created by visual artist Alexis Macnab for a song which is blunt in describing a relationship of Moon’s in her signature no-holds-barred lyricism.

Julian Moon’s debut album, Good Girl, released Monday, March 23rd. ArtistDirect premiered the album, boasting “Good Girl is one of the year’s most undeniable and unique debuts… It’s going to be one of your favorites. We promise!” She was just recently named one of Yahoo Music’s “25 Singer-Songwriters Under 25 to Watch,” holding company with multi-release-deep heavy hitters like Meghan Trainor and Mac DeMarco. Eager to introduce the world to her engaging lyricism and no-holds-barred perspective of real life as an early 20-something, the Good Girl title track premiered with NYLON in a “Band Crush,” with a second track, “2AM” premiering via All Things Go last month. “Her vocals are languid and sparkling atop layers of lightly pulsing dream-pop, a combination that incites a sort of galactic ballet.” the Hype Machine blog boasted of the diverse second peek into the album.

Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attending school in LA where Moon cemented her witty personality and pop writing sensibilities, she inked a four year writing/publishing contract before Warner Bros. Records picked her up. Now in her early 20’s, Moon simply aims to make relatable, honest music at its core for her peers. The light-hearted tumblr-esteemed “A Cup of Coffee” video, quick-to-the-point lyric video for “Rebound” and harrowing “How To Break a Heart (Acoustic)” not only show her tongue-and-cheek humor, but also how all-encompassing her understanding is.
