Southern California Based Hip Hop Artist $aucie Pete Releases New Single “Tap’d In”

November 13th, 2020: $aucie Pete released a brand new single, “Tap’d In” on Friday.

Matt Peterson, better known by his stage name $aucie Pete, is an American Hip Hop artist from Southern California’s Inland Empire region. As a teenager, Peterson found a creative outlet in hip hop, inspired by the likes of Drake, Wu-Tang Clan, Schoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar.

In 2017, Peterson adopted his stage name, $aucie Pete. He felt that the name better reflected his personality and commitment to his music. Under his new name, Pete’s style evolved from “bedroom rap” to a more emotional style; he began exploring darker tones in the beats he used and incorporating more of his singing into his music.

In recent years, $aucie Pete has performed at a variety of clubs and events around Southern California including the Legacy Room in Chino, Brew Rebellion in San Bernardino, The Come Up presented by Clash City Entertainment, and Music For the Masses presented by Mass Productions.

His new single “Tap’d In” is now available digitally worldwide on all major streaming and downloading platforms.
