Guest Opportunity: Pete Trabucco – Amusement Park Expert, Top Travel Specialist, TV Host, and Best-Selling Author of “A Personal Guide to the Best Thrill Rides and Amusement/Water Parks”
When a pandemic sweeps the globe, making large gatherings of people incredibly dangerous, how does the Walt Disney Company respond?
At first, the slogan of wash your hands and carry Purell around 24/7 became the phrase of the day. However, this still wasn’t enough to have the owners sleep easy at night. This uneasy feeling led the operators of the world’s largest theme parks, California’s Disneyland, to close for only the fourth time since it opened in 1955. A few hours later, the Walt Disney Company confirmed it would be also closing the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Paris, marking the first time in history all six Disney theme park resorts would be closed simultaneously.
If this wasn’t news enough, The Walt Disney Company announced that US parks would remain closed indefinitely moving forward. What’s next for the Happiest Place on Earth?
Amusement Park Expert Pete Trabucco takes a look at the impact the global health crisis is having on Disney World. He also uses his All New book, “A Personal Guide to the Best Thrill Rides and Amusement/Water Parks” to inform us of all the new rides for this year and where you can ride them!
