Adult Webcam Experience Company ImLive Partners with Famous Hot Doggery Gray’s Papaya to Launch Program to Feed NYC Homeless and Hungry
ImLive to Work with Gray’s Papaya to Provide NYC Growing Homeless and Hungry Population with Complimentary Hot Dogs
NEW YORK, N.Y. — ImLive.com, a site that offers the largest variety of adult webcam experiences, announced today the launch of a program to feed New York City’s growing homeless population. ImLive is collaborating with the NYC famous hot doggery, Gray’s Papaya, to pre-purchase hotdogs at both of their NYC locations in Manhattan, Uptown and Midtown. The hot dogs can be redeemed by the homeless, which have been pushed out of shelters due to fear of catching COVID-19.
This program to feed the homeless and hungry was born out of ImLive’s 18 Year Birthday Wish-a-Thon, which requested wishes from fans to be granted in celebration for its 18 years in business. The leading adult webcam company had received a number of wishes to help the homeless.
“One person who is homeless or hungry is one person too many, and with COVID-19, there is an increase in both. It can be someone who lost their job due to COVID and can’t feed themselves or their family, or someone who is homeless and is scared to go to a shelter — where they would ordinarily get fed — because of fears of catching the virus,” said Adrian Stoneman, VP of ImLive. “To help New York City’s growing homeless and hungry population get fed and stay safe, we’re excited to offer them hot dogs. There’s nothing more ‘New York’ than a hot dog.”
ImLive is currently coordinating with homeless shelters and food pantries around the city to make the community aware of the program. Gray’s Papaya has two locations in the city, and each will be accepting vouchers that can be redeemed by the homeless for one free Deluxe frank with ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, onions, relish, plus the option to add chili and cheese.
“We’re very eager to be partnering with ImLive to help feed thousands of homeless in New York City. This is an initiative our team at Gray’s Papaya is extremely passionate about and we want to help the homeless population in our city any way we can,” said Rachael Gray, owner of Gray’s Papaya. “Gray’s Papaya is a family owned business and we’re proud to be a part of such a great cause that will give back to our city.”
This wish is one of 18 wishes that ImLive has selected as part of its birthday celebration. The campaign saw thousands of submissions across the ImLive website and on social media, and the team will be continuously fulfilling all 18 wishes through the end of the year. Some of the ImLive wishes that were selected by the company include: helping one of ImLive’s users pay for their dental surgery to give them a better smile, covering the medical expenses for a user’s heart surgery, and, most recently, the team raised money to save the endangered Scrotum Frog of Lake Titicaca.
