Recorded in Austin, Texas, at&nbsp;<strong>Cicada Moon Studios<\/strong>,&nbsp;O\u2019Brien&nbsp;worked alongside&nbsp;<strong>John Bush<\/strong>&nbsp;(percussionist for Edie Brickell &amp; &nbsp;New Bohemians) and&nbsp;<strong>Matt Hubbard<\/strong>&nbsp;(keyboardist for Edie Brickell &amp; &nbsp;New Bohemians). Together they brought to life 10 original songs, each documenting important moments in her life since she left Ireland for the US in 2016.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by great American singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Brandi Carlile, &nbsp;Sheryl Crow, and Joan Baez,&nbsp;O\u2019Brien&nbsp;creates heartfelt tracks inspired by changes throughout her life.&nbsp;Especially through her latest single&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2Ff2NYEtbUaP0WoOY2i36L?si=Xp3w8-4RQlSfV1sNY3wv0w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;The King&#8217;s Fool&#8221;<\/a>, which depicts&nbsp;her assimilation into the US and combines it with the feelings of frustration in trying &#8216;make it&#8217; as a musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on her upcoming album,&nbsp;O\u2019Brien&nbsp;says, \u201cI feel this record is about transitioning, it\u2019s about acceptance, it\u2019s about adventure, it\u2019s about risk-taking. It\u2019s a reminder to me to stay the course. To not give up. The theme is \u2018women\u2019 as I co-wrote the title track &nbsp;\u2018You Can\u2019t Run Out Of Love\u201d with Jude Johnstone which is about the modern-day stress and struggles that mothers have to endure and \u2018I Stayed Too Long\u2019 is a co-write with &nbsp;Linda McRae. The last track \u2018Mother\u2019 is an apology to my own mother. \u201cShe Hides My Plecs\u201d is about my sister. I want this record to bring joy and healing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now,\u00a0Siobh\u00e1n\u00a0O&#8217;Brien\u00a0is excited to share her third studio album,\u00a0<em>You Can\u2019t Run Out Of Love<\/em>, with the world in spring 2020. The first single off the record, &#8220;The King&#8217;s Fool&#8221;, is currently available on all streaming platforms and is making its way to the airways. At the age of 16, she threw aside the piano and fiddle, dedicating herself to the guitar. Her musical ambitions grew as she released her original music to the world. Her debut album&nbsp;<strong><em>Mumbo Jumbo Bla Bla<\/em><\/strong>, released in 1996, went on to garner praise and national airplay throughout Ireland. In 2008,&nbsp;Siobhan&nbsp;released her album<em><strong>&nbsp;I Grew Up To<\/strong><\/em>, which featured famed Irish musician&nbsp;<strong>Paddy Moloney<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>The Chieftans<\/strong>&nbsp;and led to a performance at the&nbsp;<strong>Boston Symphony Hall<\/strong>&nbsp;with them the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2016,&nbsp;Siobhan&nbsp;O\u2019Brien&nbsp;made the move to America, deciding that was where she wanted to lay down her musical roots.
