Colin Clyne<\/strong> is an award winning Scottish singer\/songwriter (Alt-Folk \/ ,Americana).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having spent 10 years in California, Clyne is now back in Scotland blazing a trail in the UK music scene. He left San Diego as a 2 time winner of \u2018The Best Acoustic Act\u2019<\/strong> at the prestigious San Diego Music Awards<\/strong>. In the US, NBC<\/strong> featured Colin in a top 12 list of best singer songwriters associated with San Diego in amongst Tom Waits<\/em><\/strong>, Jewel<\/em><\/strong> and the late Jim Croce<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his previous album, Doricana<\/strong>, The Never Ending Pageant<\/strong> was produced by Grammy<\/strong> Award Winning Engineer<\/strong>, Alan Sanderson<\/strong><\/em>, (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Ryan Adams, Burt Bacharach).<\/strong><\/em>
\u2018Pageant\u2019<\/strong> reached #6 on the iTunes Country album charts<\/strong> and his song Top of the Mountain was a Finalist in the 2014 UK Songwriting contest. STV (Scottish TV)<\/strong> hailed Colin as a \u2018\u2026rising star of Scotland\u2026\u2019<\/em> with The Sun<\/strong> newspaper describing his \u2018The Never Ending Pageant\u2019 album  as \u2018\u2026a glorious selection of folk and county rock<\/em> numbers\u2026\u2019<\/em> akin to Ryan Adams<\/strong><\/em> or Bruce Springsteen<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clyne has become a seasoned road vet, impressing crowds at venues from  Hollywood\u2019s infamous Viper Room to Aberdeen, Scotland\u2019s Blue Lamp. He has also racked up numerous festivals appearances including The<\/strong> Tartan Heart Festival (Belladrum), Southern Fried Festival<\/strong>, Enjoy Music Festival<\/strong>, True North<\/strong> and sold out The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.<\/strong> Clyne appeared at the 2012 Stonehaven Hogmany Party in Scotland, where he opened the stage for International touring band The Red Hot Chilli Pipers<\/strong><\/em> in front of 6,000 party goers.
He has also shared the stage with the likes of Dave Arcari<\/strong><\/em>, James Grant (Love & Money)<\/strong><\/em>, Big Country<\/strong><\/em>, Donnie Munro (Runrig)<\/strong><\/em>, Justin Currie (Del Amitri)<\/strong><\/em>, Skerryvore<\/strong><\/em>, Mark Olsen (Jayhawks), Nigel Clark (Dodgy) <\/strong><\/em>and performed at a VIP event for Elton John<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
