Klas Magnus Ros\u00e9n<\/strong> is a Swedish<\/a> musician<\/a>, born 1963 in Gothenburg<\/a>, and is best known for being the bassist<\/a> of the Swedish band HammerFall<\/a> during the years 1997-2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magnus Ros\u00e9n started to play bass<\/a> when he was 15 years old. When he had played bass for three years he went on his first tour with the band Kung Sune<\/a>. After the tour he moved to Los Angeles<\/a>, there he played in many bands, like Billionaires Boys Club where future Hammerfall-bandmate Anders Johansson<\/a> played drums. He became a member of the Swedish heavy metal band Hammerfall in 1997. Magnus is also a jazz bassist, having recorded several albums of solo material. He occasionally does solo tours in South America, where he donates the profits to charity. On 7 March 2007 Magnus left Hammerfall to focus on his own projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1 November 2009 Magnus joined ex-Stratovarius<\/a> guitarist Timo Tolkki<\/a>‘s new band Revolution Renaissance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ros\u00e9n has recently become involved in former Black Sabbath<\/a> vocalist Tony Martin<\/a>‘s live band, Tony Martin’s Headless Cross. The band played their debut show on 27 July 2012 at The Asylum in Birmingham, UK. The show was filmed for a live DVD, and is intended as a warm-up for a full tour in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, Ros\u00e9n was announced as the new bassist for Brazilian heavy metal band Shadowside<\/a>. In 2017, he also joined Spanish band Avalanch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ros\u00e9n also played with Joe Lynn Turner 2017 on a Scandinavium tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ros\u00e9n joined another band called The Senior Management, also featuring G\u00f6ran Edman<\/a>, Henrik Zetterlund and Dennis Heltorp with an Album Release Heart & Soul 2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adlerbertska<\/strong> scholarship 2012 awarded to Magnus Ros\u00e9n (ex-Hammerfall)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

World bassist Magnus Ros\u00e9n (ex Hammerfall) was awarded the Adlerbertska scholarship in 2012 by the society Gnistan. The scholarship was SEK 54,000 and Magnus told us that the money will be used for the recording of two new solo albums. The Government annually shares scholarships from the Adlerbertska scholarship fund to performing artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
