In his 10 years in the music scene Roy Waterford has amassed many accomplishments. In his early days in the hip hop scene he shared stages with such acts as\u00a0Mac Miller<\/strong>,\u00a0Freddie Gibbs<\/strong>, and\u00a0Ghostface Killah<\/strong>. More recently in the jam band scene he played several music festivals and toured the U.S for roughly two years. After departing from touring, he set his sights on Reggae music, writing and recording an album in three months and signing with an independent label in\u00a0Cyprus<\/strong>. Now Roy has returned to his musical roots: heavy metal. Inspired by iconic bands like\u00a0Black Sabbath<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats<\/strong>, Waterford has created the musical persona of\u00a0Watchman<\/strong>, and it is under this title that he will be releasing his debut album, \u201cDoom of Babylon<\/strong>\u201d.
Watchman\u00a0<\/strong>is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer Roy Waterford. Drawing inspiration from\u00a0Black Sabbath<\/strong>,\u00a0Electric Wizard<\/strong>, and\u00a0Sleep\u00a0<\/strong>among others, his debut album \u201cDoom of Babylon<\/strong>\u201d is a product of the artists\u2019 bluesy, psychedelic rock influences channeled into eight heavy doom metal tracks.\u00a0
While we wait for the full album to be released, three songs have been released as a standalone E.P. called\u00a0Behold A Pale Horse. Stoned Meadow Of Doom\u00a0<\/strong>is streaming the E.P. now on their\u00a0YouTube\u00a0<\/strong>channel and it can also be purchased on\u00a0Bandcamp<\/strong>!
