With years of combined experience and hundreds of gigs around the world as members of Disco Ensemble<\/strong>, Children of Bodom<\/strong> and Lapko<\/strong>, Jussi Ylikoski, Ville Malja, Mikko Hakila and Henkka Sepp\u00e4l\u00e4 united last year to form Moon Shot<\/strong>. Today, their debut album Confession<\/em><\/strong> comes out in partnership with OMN Label Services<\/strong>, and you can now buy or stream it on all digital platforms<\/a>.

Moon Shot\u2019s<\/strong> debut release follows the resounding success of debut track \u201cBig Bang\u201d<\/a>, and further singles like \u201cBlood Looks Cool\u201d<\/a>, and \u201cConfession\u201d<\/a>. Guitar player Jussi Ylikoski<\/strong> shares \u201cI\u2019m very excited to finally release our debut album Confession. When writing and judging the songs for this album, the most important thing for me was to remain true and honest to myself. If something didn\u2019t feel right, it had to go. This is the only way for me to protect the inspiration and meaning of this work and to present a meaningful album. And when this is achieved, everything else is secondary<\/em>.\u201d

\u201cConfession is a labour of love<\/em>,” he concludes.

Along with the album, Moon Shot have released the brand new video for standout, focus track \u201cMarlboro Man\u201d<\/strong>, a favorite of vocalist Ville Malja<\/strong>\u2019s: \u201cThe big sing-along chorus combined with airy and sensitive verse parts makes this song meaningful for all of us. The intimate vocal performance backed up with rich harmonies delivered by the band will travel close to you while listening.\u201d<\/em>

Moon Shot<\/strong> will be taking \u201cConfession\u201d<\/strong> on the road, starting with a couple of Finnish dates in November. Next year, they will finally bring the experience to Europe, with shows in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
