Owen Street completed the line-up, playing bass at early recording sessions. The group worked on many recordings at Phil\u2019s place, James\u2019s studio and Unit\u00a0A\u00a0studio in Palm Springs. James and Phil worked on and off on their recordings up until 2010. They\u2019d discussed recording more, but Phil became ill and returned to England where he had more of\u00a0a\u00a0personal support system. Sadly, Phil died in 2015.\u00a0Little\u00a0Villains\u2019 first album, \u201cPhilthy Lies\u201d, was released on Heavy Psyche Sounds Records in 2019 with the blessing of Phil\u2019s family. Chris Fielden joined the band, playing drums on tour. Owen Childs, James\u2019s nephew, also joined, playing guitar. \u201cThe band features\u00a0a\u00a0heavy and hard rock \u2018n\u2019 roll sound, with fast-paced beats and riffs with\u00a0a\u00a0Mot\u00f6rhead feel. This album has\u00a0a\u00a0classic sound to it, with an old school, raw production. There are plenty of catchy rocking tunes. It has an unpolished sound that has not been over produced. The spirit and legend of Phil \u2018Philthy Animal\u2019 Taylor lives on in\u00a0Little\u00a0Villains. This is surely one that any Mot\u00f6rhead fan will want to have. The second album, \u201cTaylor Made\u201d, was released on Cleopatra Records in 2020, again featuring Phil on drums and James on guitar and vocals. Alan Davey of Hawkwind played bass on the album. Chris Fielden and Owen Childs feature on backing vocals and guitar.\u00a0\u201cI found the music catchy, energetic, melodic, hard rockin\u2019, vibrant and diverse, with\u00a0a\u00a0modern groove. Lots of character within the song structures. There, the musicianship is thrilling. All the songs were written and recorded by James Childs, Owen Childs and Chris Fielden. The album received positive reviews and radio play throughout the UK, Europe and the US.
