1. “What’s a common myth about Independent Artists and can you debunk it?”<\/div>\n
I think that a common misconception is that you become an overnight sensation.\u00a0 Though that could happen, I think that successful artists have worked years to become noticed and have definitely paid their dues.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
2. “What advice would you give to someone wanting to enter the music industry?”<\/div>\n
Get some help from people who are in the business and can help you avoid errors.\u00a0 Don’t be afraid to ask for advice.\u00a0 Put your ego aside.<\/div>\n
\n3. “Are there any resources or even advice that have really helped you on your journey?”<\/div>\n
Make sure your band mates have the same goals and level of commitment.\u00a0 One person can derail months and years of effort.<\/div>\n
\n4. “What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career thus far?”<\/div>\n
For me, it’s been never\u00a0giving up.<\/div>\n
\n5. \u201cWhat do you wish you had known when you started out?\u201d<\/div>\n
That a lot of people in the business have self\u00a0interest at heart.<\/div>\n
\n6. “What led you to becoming a singer-songwriter?”<\/div>\n
I have always used music to channel times in my life that have been very challenging,\u00a0 \u00a0 I have turned negative into positive.<\/div>\n

7. “What do you think is your unique skill(s) that has helped you become successful?”<\/p><\/div>\n

For me success means that you are happy, healthy, secure and motivated.\u00a0 Every day I do something for my mind, my body, my relationships, and my finances.\u00a0 Little things daily.\u00a0 One pushup is better than zero pushups.\u00a0 Writing one verse of lyrics is better than nothing.\u00a0 Reading one page of a book is something I strive to\u00a0do every day.<\/div>\n

\n8. “How was your journey to what you do
\n<\/span>Now?”\u00a0 No regrets.\u00a0 Looking at what you have rather than what you want has been important to me.\u00a0 If I can make one person laugh, smile, or forget about life’s stresses through music, I feel that that is a win,<\/p>\n

9. “How did this project begin?”\u00a0 I relocated to the area and responded to a craigslist ad for a band seeking a vocalist.\u00a0 True Love Devil had been together\u00a0for quite\u00a0some time.\u00a0 Members have known\u00a0each other since high school and never could find\u00a0a\u00a0singer that\u00a0could write and fit in.\u00a0 We are a brotherhood.

\n10. “What makes this project different from “past projects?”\u00a0 The bond we have.\u00a0 Sharing of ideals and goals,

\n11. “What’s the inspiration behind this project?”\u00a0 Just to write music that can get people ROCKIN! and have some fun!<\/p>\n

12. “What word or phrase would you use to describe this project?”\u00a0 Bulletproof.\u00a0 We have overcome many obstacles.\u00a0 For example, our first foray into recording resulted\u00a0in the recording studio we had chosen catch fire and burn to the ground.\u00a0 Not only did we lose our deposit but were set back many months to recover and get funds to record again.<\/p>\n

14. “What is coming up for you in the near future?”\u00a0 We will be releasing a 4th single “Solitude”.\u00a0 We are also working on\u00a0another music video.\u00a0 We have a few shows coming up.\u00a0 FibsFest July 22nd and Brauerhouse August 18th.\u00a0\u00a0

\n15. “Many people believe that becoming a musical artist is challenging to the point it
\n<\/span>becomes overwhelming and too much to handle. Why do you think people believe that?”\u00a0 Because bands fall apart easily due to lack of communication.\u00a0 Just like any relationship, communication\u00a0is key.\u00a0 Being a musician is hard work.\u00a0 Most people don’t see the challenges that a band faces.\u00a0 They just see social media, videos, etc..<\/p>\n

16. \u201cWhat\u2019s the most common reason for people failing or giving up?\u201d\u00a0 Unrealistic expectations.

\n17. “What is your favorite word?”\u00a0 YES<\/p>\n

18. “What are you not very good at?”\u00a0 \u00a0Sports.\u00a0 I was a headbanger from the 6th grade!\u00a0 Music was my sport!<\/p>\n

19. “If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”\u00a0 The ability to never need sleep.<\/p>\n

20. “If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?”\u00a0 Pizza.\u00a0 So many combinations, styles, crusts.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n21. “If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would you choose?”\u00a0 I would switch lives with the high school me.<\/div>\n
