bout Blasé“Blasé” is a fun and upbeat pop song and has the perfect sound for the summer. A song about being bored and not caring, the track is purely pop with elements of R&B sprinkled throughout. With its super funky baseline and catchy melody, Kendra’s highly relatable lyrics are easy to remember and are incredibly fun to sing. Produced by Caden Jester, a well known producer who has had his work featured on numerous television shows, “Blasé” is a super relatable song for the teenage and early 20’s demographic. The song is slated to be promoted heavily on TikTok with numerous influencers across the platform.

Biography

Kendra Checketts is a singer/songwriter from San Diego, CA who began performing at the young age of five. The 22 year-old artist was a contestant in the four-time Emmy award winning TV show, The Voice. Working alongside celebrity mentors Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, Kendra made it to 14th overall on the show’s 16th season.

Checketts is known for opening for the pop sensation MAX. Soon after Checketts released her hit single “I’m Not Sober” with producer Clueless Kit reaching upwards of 1.9 million streams on Spotify.

A philanthropist at heart, Kendra has been fundraising and supporting numerous non-profit organizations for the past twelve years. Her dedication to philanthropic work inspired her to co-write her first song “Wind Across The Water”, produced by Raging Bohemian Music at the age of 11 which Kendra donated her net proceeds to non-profit children’s organizations.

Checketts’ extraordinary captivating voice has been compared to some of the greatest female vocalists including Adele, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse. A seasoned veteran of the stage, Kendra performs top 40 hits with a Pop/R&B vibe throughout San Diego and Los Angeles. Not only has she played popular venues like The World famous Catalina Jazz Club, House Of Blues San Diego, Qualcomm Stadium, Marriott and Westroot, her soulful rendition of The National Anthem has been performed at numerous sports events throughout San Diego.

Kendra will be releasing her debut EP at the end of 2021.
