Despite denials by the Chinese government, United States security experts feel the threat presented by the Chinese is significant highlighting the fact that a great number of cyber-hacking originates in China.

Yet amid these reports, the Obama administration has reduced the importance of counter-intelligence against China and has placed the Commerce Department in charge of overseeing control of sensitive information being exported.
