JASON SHAND – ‘THE PETTY NARCISSIST’ album

Speaking of doing great, I am on cloud 9 having recently listened to my mastered new album in sequence with the proper spacing in between tracks for the first time. I’m so happy. Because of Zeeva was a stepping stone. The Petty Narcissist, however,is everything I wanted and everything I dreamed of being. I wouldn’t change a thing on this record, and that’s a great feeling. Beyond proud, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
My goal with this 14 song collection was to make a substantive personal pop album that not only catered to this new single driven era, but also catered to the old school of having a full length album where each song flows into the other, taking the listener on a sonic journey. I wanted no fillers on this album. With all fourteen songs being substantive pop singles that flow from one song to the next, taking the listener on a sonic story telling ride, I’d like to think I succeeded. I hope I did.
