| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE REAPING ASMODEIA UNLEASHES CRUSHING CHIMAIRA COVER “NOTHING REMAINS” – OUT NOW Minneapolis tech-death bruisers Reaping Asmodeia are roaring into their fifteenth year with a full-throttle tribute to one of the cornerstones of early 2000s metal. Their blistering reimagining of Chimaira’s “Nothing Remains” is out now via Blood Blast Distribution, with physical formats handled by Cardinal Sun Records. Drummer Daniel Koppy explains the choice: “The 20th anniversary of Chimaira’s self-titled album recently passed. They were a pinnacle band in the NWOAHM movement and heavily influenced our early sound and stage presence. Twenty years later, ‘Nothing Remains’ is still as heavy as ever. We hope we did it justice while putting our own spin on it.” The release is the final piece of a year-long run of singles leading into a major milestone: Reaping Asmodeia’s 15 Year Anniversary EP, Metempsychosis, dropping December 12 via Cardinal Sun Records. The EP features “Shattered Leviathan,” “Sanctuary of Poison,” the new take on “Nothing Remains,” and instrumental versions of all three tracks. Vinyl collectors can grab an exclusive pressing and throwback merch at reapingasmodeia.limitedrun.com . Fans can celebrate with the band at their 15 Year Anniversary Show on Friday, December 12 at Amsterdam Bar & Hall, Saint Paul, MN, joined by Maul, Micawber, The Enmity Offensive, and Rahvn. A short documentary chronicling the band’s fifteen-year history premieres at a free viewing event on December 9 at Klash Drums, Columbia Heights, MN. The band’s lineup now includes the return of original bassist Jakub Kingery and the arrival of new vocalist Eric Keyes, injecting fresh energy and expanding their creative palette. Self-produced by the band, “Nothing Remains” was engineered and mixed by Alex Kelly, Jakub Kingery, Daniel Koppy, and Adam Tucker (SignatureTone Recording).
