Steve Markoff & Patricia Lazzara are currently working on their 3rd album together, a follow-up to their highly acclaimed “Timeless” which was released in 2019.

In their upcoming release, Steve and Patty will have their creative juices flowing and they reimagine instrumental covers.  The first release from the album came in November of ’21 in the form of Cutting Crew’s 1980’s hit “(I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight.

Here they do an elegant instrumental take of the 1985 chart topper by A-ha, “Take On Me”

The flutist duo of Steve Markoff and Patricia Lazzara met years ago when Steve came to Patricia for lessons. Over the next five years, that teacher-student relationship would slowly morph into one of fellow artists and colleagues.

2019 saw Steve Markoff (alto flute), Patricia Lazzara (concert flute), collaborating with Allison Brewster Franzetti (piano), to create their first album, the critically acclaimed Timeless—Hits of Love and Hope From Pop, Rock & Soft Rock , an 18-track monster of an album which is loaded with gentle acoustic covers of iconic hits we all know and love.

In 2021 they released “Romances In Blue” – an emotional instrumental journey featuring several World Premiers and newly-commissioned works, which explores the path of life through the emotions of attraction, love, hope, longing, despair, sadness, deep joy, and finally acceptance of what is.
