My name is Joe Bordenaro. I grew up/am currently living in Lockport IL (right outside Chicago). I attend Lockport Township High School as my day job. I’m graduating this May. Sweet. I write and record rock and roll songs in my basement as my second day job and sometimes night job.
I got into playing music when I was about 8 years old through church. I would sneak playing the drums when nobody was around. Eventually the church drummer ended up storing his drums at my house so I played them constantly. Fast forward a lot of years, picked up guitar (sort of) and all that other good stuff, got into lots of great bands coming out of Chicago, I realized I was a lame little boy for not writing my own songs, I put on some big boy pants and started writing my own songs, and now here we are.
I ended up self-releasing a little four track EP last summer entitled Physical Education on soundcloud/bandcamp. That was the “debut’ of Joe Bordenaro I guess you could say. I like hanging out and having a good time. Life is good. Life is real good.
