Multi platinum songstress Linda Varg returns with emotional ballad You Gotta Come Home
Multi platinum Swedish songstress Linda Varg is making her comeback this Fall with an emotional ballad ‘You Gotta Come Home’.
Varg wrote ‘You Gotta Come Home’ with her grandmother in mind. “A few years ago – she explains – my grandma got a psychosis that made her mentally disappear completely. While this was happening, my grandpa became very ill and it turned out that he had cancer. One week later he died. When my grandma woke up after a few days, grandpa had passed away and she didn’t get the chance to say good bye”.
Linda Varg isn’t new to emotional ballads, having written the hit ‘Keep Going’, which was launched on national television, when Linda was one of the finalists of Swedish Idol.
Another career highlight is 2015’s EP ‘Welcome to Bangville’ released by with Gain/Sony Music and produced by Chris Rehn (Europe, Smash Into Pieces, Ulf Nilsson). The EP’s two leading singles, ‘Idiot’ and ‘Russian roulette’, debuted at no1 on iTunes Rock Sweden.
