Yes Factory – Bad Luck Charm bio:
Rockford, Illinois’s Yes Factory returns with a new single entitled Bad Luck Charm on the 27th January 2021 via Tambourine Machine Records

The new single follows the release of the bands 2020 debut self-titled EP. The single adds an Indie/ Pop sensibility to the bands growing track list of released material.

Bad Luck Charm features Ian Zander on lead vocals highlighting the bands multi fronted lead singer set up. This is something known to fans of the bands live show but is the first time they have released music with Ian singing.

Ian Zander says “Yes Factory was always built on the idea that any one member could take the lead.” Band member Brennan Reiter adds, “We are all supportive of each other’s work and are excited when someone new steps up to the spotlight.”

————————-

Yes Factory was born in Rockford, IL. USA out of the ideology of saying yes to exploring all creative ideas. This has led the band to have a unique sound, as each writer and collaborator has brought something new and contrasting to each song. Their genre can sometimes be hard to pinpoint even within a single song, giving the band a unique brand of Indie/Pop or Art Pop/Rock.

The Band has been in a constant writing and recording schedule since their inception in 2017, working with Ian’s long time collaborator and former writing partner Mark Gustafson. Mark takes up the roll of Producer/ Engineer, leading the band on a global journey of recording. The band write and demo in Rockford and send to Mark who now lives in the UK.

Wanting to get away from their hometown distractions, the band and Mark moved into Jettison Studios just outside St, Louis and additional recording took place in Rockford in a disused office building. With the bands vision still not realized, they moved production to the UK completing recording at The Nave in Leeds. Mastering was also done in the UK at the world famous Metropolis Studios by Andy ‘Hippy’ Baldwin.

Yes Factory has supported their music by playing all manner of live events from an intimate acoustic performance to a festival accompanied with live strings. The band has played alongside rock royalty, playing with Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) as well as opening for, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Cheap Trick themselves. As recording had taken them across the world, they have also played two tours of England with plans to return when live music is possible again.
